Much as expected, the theatrical rights for Billa ’2′ in Tamil Nadu have been sold for a whopping price. The producer, Sunir Kheterpal tweeted that the TN theatrical rights have been sold and the that the promotions will mostly begin this May.
But the greatest surprise is this. The rights have been sold to none other than the legendary AASCAR Ravichandran, the man known for grand openings. Thala Ajith’s reach has finally hit another pinnacle with Aascar Ravichandran himself buying the rights for Billa ’2′. According to Entertainment Industry tracker Mr.Sreedhar Pillai, the rights are being rumored to have been sold for a record amount.
With the fantastic network that Aascar Ravichandran has, Billa ’2′ would flood the entire TN theatrical scene on the day of its release.
While the TN theatrical rights have been sold and finalized, Kerala rights are yet to be sold. SVR Media has bagged the Telugu dubbing rights. For the North Indian and Overseas market, the producer tweeted that the movie would be released with subtitles for a wider reach. Mankatha, our readers will know, had a massive and record opening in overseas theatres. Something even greater is expected for Billa ’2′
The audio of the film has 6 tracks – one main theme and five songs. As reported earlier, Yuvan has crooned Don Don Don for the film and the soundtrack from the teaser trailer has already made waves across the fan clubs.
By this time you are reading the news, the official teaser of Billa 2 has crosses 1 million mark. One more feather added to Thala’s crown.
