Visual Review: Thala rocks dancing with ‘Mankatha’ songs

Thala fans…. Hip Hip Hooray!!! Thala is back in form as we see him so energetic and enthusiastic with his dance sequences in ‘Mankatha’. This morning a special preview of two songs in the film ‘Mankatha’. The song ‘Vaada Bin Laden’ and ‘Machi Open The Bottle’ were screened and it was a special treat for the special invitees and media people.
We bring you an exclusive look into these songs including the choreography, cinematography and costumes.
1. Vaada Bin Laden
Singers: Krish, Suchitra
Lyrics: Vaali
The song has evoked huge response with the audio for its stunning style of rendition by Krish and Suchitra. It has a rock ‘n’ roll kind of rhythm. It was a big doubt whether it will be an item number or romantic track. Yes, the song belongs to the latter category and is pictured on Ajith Kumar and Trisha. The song is set in backdrops of a room that has the walls changing into different colours and locations. Thala Ajith Kumar will have more costumes constantly changed through Computer Generated Graphics… Need an example - watch out for the song ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ where Ranbir Kapoor undergoes similar. But this one is far best than the Hindi song. Trisha is so hot and sensuous in this song and shares a scintillating onscreen chemistry with our Thala.
2. Machi Open The Bottle
Singers: Mano, Premgi Amaran, Tippu, Haricharan, Naveen
Lyrics: Vaali
While presenting you with the music review of this track, we had made blind assumptions that the song will have huge celebrations in the theatres. But this morning soon after watching the film, the elite audiences themselves were prone to celebrative moods. Yup! Our Thala has performed a dance to a greater magnitude that one might have not imagined. Wow! What a dance and this is incredulously astounding. While the portion of ‘Raman Aandalum Raavanan Aandalum’, Thala laughs in his style and at last like Superstar Rajnikanth and then Vaibhav asks ‘Thala why are you dancing for this song for now?’ to which Thala replies ‘Mabbu Aerunaale Ilayaraja Paatuthaan Mindukku Varudhu’.
So keep logging to this column for more updates on the visual reviews of remaining songs.
